EARTH DAY 2025
Earth Day is celebrated every year to raise awareness about environmental protection and to remind us of our responsibility towards our planet. It highlights the importance of preserving natural resources and encourages sustainable living. Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April, and this year, the theme was "Our Power, Our Planet", focusing on how each one of us holds the power to bring positive change for the Earth. To mark this occasion, a morning speech was delivered during assembly. The speech emphasized the importance of Earth Day, explained this year’s theme, and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habites
Activities: As part of the Earth Day celebration, students took part in an innovative and educational activity. Under the guidance of our Eco Club teacher, Mr. Roshan Rai, we created a scanner for flora. The scanner included information about different trees and plants in our school campus, helping students learn more about local biodiversity. In the morning, we moved around the school and stuck the scanner labels on the trees as per the plant details mentioned. After the labeling, we clicked photos with students from different classes, along with Mr. Roshan Rai and our Principal. This activity not only helped raise awareness but also promoted love and respect for nature among the students.
The Earth Day celebration on 22nd April 2025 was both engaging and informative. Through meaningful activities and enthusiastic participation, students learned about their role in protecting the environment. The theme "Our Power, Our Planet" inspired everyone to make small but impactful changes in their lives to build a greener future.
